If spectacular views have a tendency to take your breath away then pack a spare oxygen mask if staying at the San Carlo as these views are unsurpassed in Italy. The kiddies are well catered for here with a mini-club at certain hours but the more mature kiddies will adore the buzz of the nightlife in 'Il Cielo' nightclub attached to the hotel. You can also cool off the following day with a dip in the pool

On the Mottolino side of the valley, the resort centre is only 15mins walk away and the Mottolino lift is 800m away. The new 4 man Teola chair lift is just 200m away giving easy access to the Mottolino ski area. A free ski bus stops 50m outside the hotel.
